i made the mistake of choosing a screw in one to make a rod and full lenght too , i think the press in ones had a seam the full lenght but the screw ones not but its long ago when i wasent even a spotty yoooof: cast out and half an hour later the rod tips still bouncing away ,very often i had to ask total stranger to help me unscrew the darn thing as it got stuck
